Project Manager and CQA Manager during multiple Landfill Gas Expansion Construction events as well as cell construction, final capping, flare, and blower installation. Mr. DiGello managed multiple contractors and CQA technicians performing pipe pressure testing and final capping repairs, coordinated survey, helped prepare as-built record drawings, and prepared the certification reports.
Conestoga Landfill, Pennsylvania 2021 & 2022
Project Manager for 3 landfill cells totaling approximately 13 acres that were fast tracked to keep ahead of operations.
Imperial Landfill, Pennsylvania 2009 – 2021
Mr. DiGello acted as Project Manager for multiple LFG Expansion construction events as well as CQA Manager for temporary capping installation. Mr. DiGello managed multiple contractors coordinated survey, helped prepare as-built record drawings, and prepared the certification reports.

USACE 2008 Degognia Levee Repairs, Murphysboro, Illinois
Acted as Quality Control Manager for the stabilization of earthen Levees for Army Corps of Engineers. Provided construction oversight and testing for the removal of levee failures, lime stabilization of soils, and levee reconstruction. Managed several subcontractors. Was responsible for coordinating with several state and federal agencies. Completed all of the daily USACE quality control paperwork, including DQCRs and all the testing paperwork.
Carleton Farms Landfill, Michigan 2009
Ash Cell & Cell 208, acted as CQA manager and Construction Management of approximately 14 acres total of new cell construction. Managed multiple contractors and CQA technicians who Observed/tested RSL placement, geosynthetic installation, leachate management systems, and protective cover placement. Helped prepare record as-built drawings and draft narrative for certification.
Pennsylvania Department of Transport, I-99 Corridor Acid Rock Drainage Remediation Centre County, Pennsylvania 2007 & 2008
CQA and Construction Management services for several different geosynthetic cover systems for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation I-99 Immovable Material Slope Cover. Systems included geotextile, reinforced geotextile, geogrid, FML, GCL, and geoweb. Prepared draft narratives and reviewed record drawings for construction certification.
USACE 2010 88th Army RSC stormwater runoff improvements – Acted as Quality Control Manager for the construction of stormwater improvements and facility construction at Ft. Snelling Air Force Base. Responsible for managing multiple contractors. Managed, ordered, and reviewed all the quality control testing of the subsoils, concrete, and asphalt. Helped facilitate a design change that utilized a geogrid stabilization solution in lieu of excavating and replacing large amounts of unsuitable materials. Was responsible for coordinating with several state and federal agencies. Completed all of the daily USACE quality control paperwork, including DQCRs and all the testing paperwork.
Pioneer Crossing Landfill, Pennsylvania 2010 - Current

White Pines Landfill, Pennsylvania 2011

Acted as Project Manager for the construction of multiple landfill cells. Managed multiple contractors and CQA technicians who oversaw the placement/installation of recompacted subbase, geosynthetics, protective cover, and leachate collection piping. Prepared the certification reports and assisted in the preparation of record as-built drawings.

Ohio EPA, Exit C&D Landfill, Ohio 2010
Subsurface heating event remediation for the Ohio EPA. Served as Site Supervisor during the investigation, and remediation of a subsurface heating event. Worked with the Stark County Health Department and the Ohio EPA to remediate rapid subsidence, quench a subsurface heating event, install a monitoring system, and rehabilitate the Leachate management system.
CLD Landfill, Ohio 2007 - CQA technician services during the construction of a 40-acre soil cap. Observed/tested RSB placement. Helped prepare record as-built drawings for certification.
