EXPERIENCE
As Consultant:
Carbon Limestone Landfill, Lowellville, OH
Assisted in the design and management of multiple facility engineered systems including, new disposal cell, final cover capping, gas collection and control system (GCCS) expansion, and liquid conveyance infrastructure improvements. Supported facility with additional phased development and financial budgeting services during annual budgeting process and developed construction plan for approximately 400 acres of historic mine reclamation.
Lake County Landfill, Painesville, OH
Oversaw development of an NSPS Subpart XXX GCCS Design Plan and subsequent wellfield improvement and expansion designs. Performed in-depth evaluation as to the extent of potential odor generation and presented findings in public forum on behalf of County Commissioners.
TimkenSteel Corporation, Faircrest, OH
Oversaw the design and phasing development for an expansion of a steel byproduct impoundment providing approximately 100 years of useful life. Developed closure phasing and Closure / Post-Closure end use plans.
EDL Energy and Fortistar Methane Group
Provided numerous gas quality and quantity evaluations considering impacts of such things as well liquid level, applied vacuum, pipe capacity, and waste age and composition. Developed recommendations regarding expected landfill gas generation and opportunities for improving collection efficiency.
Athens Hocking Landfill, Athens, OH
Oversaw the development of current Site Development Plans and future Facility Expansion Plans, optimizing the utilization of currently permitted airspace respective of future landfill operations during the expansion period.
As Owner Representative:
Imperial Landfill, Imperial, PA
Oversaw the construction of four (4) landfill cells encompassing approximately 13 acres. Completed twelve (12) construction events to expand the active GCCS infrastructure. Successfully pursued Major Permit Modification from PADEP to reconfigure 33 acres of future landfill footprint. Completed the installation of 7 acres of exposed geosynthetic membrane for odor control.
Greenridge Reclamation Landfill, Scottdale, PA
Completed construction of two (2) landfill disposal cells, and eight (8) GCCS expansion events. Successfully completed large scale, odor mitigation project encompassing the installation of over 8,000 ft of horizontal collection piping, 10,400 ft of liquid forcemain, 9,500 ft of airline, and 6,400 ft of gas conveyance header / lateral piping.
