QUALIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS:
Mr. Cavender has experience with various aspects of solid waste management and landfill gas collection system operations including construction, operation, maintenance, and monitoring.
He has served as a CQA Inspector in Minnesota, North Carolina, and Michigan.
He has served as a CQA Field Manager in Tennessee and Ohio.
Mr. Cavender has experience in working with multiple earthworks, geosynthetic, and piping contractors, as well as gas and leachate system piping construction.
Mr. Cavender has served as a O&M technician at multiple landfills in Michigan and has extensive landfill gas wellfield knowledge.
Mr. Cavender has earned his Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM).
Middle Point Landfill, Tennessee
Served as CQA Field Manager during expansions of landfill gas collection system. Services included supervision of field operations, subcontractor management, verification of landfill gas well depths and locations, documentation of installation, and monitoring to ensure compliance with the construction quality assurance plan.
East Carolina Landfill, North Carolina
Served as CQA Technician for CQA services including supervision of field operations, subcontractor management, verification of landfill gas well depths and locations, documentation of installation, and monitoring to ensure compliance with the construction quality assurance plan.
Peoples Landfill, Michigan
Served as CQA Technician for CQA services including supervision of field operations, subcontractor management, verification of landfill gas well depths and locations, documentation of installation, and monitoring to ensure compliance with the construction quality assurance plan.

O&M Environmental Compliance
Completed several landfill gas O&M projects in Michigan, Tennessee, Ohio, Minnesota, and North Carolina. Worked closely with clients/PM on landfill gas systems to monitor and troubleshoot all landfill gas compliance issues. Responsibilities included landfill gas O&M, testing, and troubleshooting of LFG GCCS, blower and flare compounds, condensate/leachate collection and control systems, including construction and upgrades of those systems.
Wellfield maintenance and troubleshooting experience includes but is not limited to wellfield tuning, liquid levels, snake camera investigations, electrical pumps, QED pump maintenance, HDPE fusion, HDPE electrofusion, oxygen leak/repair, flare troubleshooting/maintenance, surface emission monitoring and remediation, etc.
