Landfill Design, Permit Writing, & CAD Drafting
Completed various LFG Design projects for gas system expansions at solid waste facilities in Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Kentucky, Nevada, and Ohio. This included, but was not limited to, LFG conveyance systems and grading, condensate management systems (i.e. sumps, knockout pots, pumps, controls, and LFG flow meters), LandGEM model creation & analysis, GCCS Final Development Plans, KYPipe analysis, well schedule verification and completion, and comprehensive wellhead data analysis.
Completed 5-Year phasing/design plans, budget planning and AutoCAD for the landfill gas system expansions at several solid waste facilities in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Michigan. This included, but was not limited to, anticipating and developing LFG construction and control needs over a five-year period, preparing drawing plan set reflecting the phasing, completing quantities, and estimating costs.
Completed design and drawings drafted in AutoCAD for the landfill leachate collection and conveyance systems at multiple solid waste facilities in Tennessee, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Michigan. This included, but was not limited to, leachate conveyance system layouts, leachate sumps and lift stations, pumps, and controls.
Site-Specific Relevant Project Experience
Lorain County Landfill, Ohio – Project Engineer from 2020 to present. Services include development of LFG construction drawings based on site-specific needs, attending monthly LFG meetings, analyzing and interpreting historic LFG data, assisting in project management of LFG design implementation as well as other site-specific needs.
Countywide RDF, Ohio – Developed the 2024 updated GCCS Design Plan that included but was not limited to developing and analyzing a site-specific LandGEM model, developing a final LFG design layout, drafting a SEM map, and performing KYPipe analysis.
Oakland County Landfill, Michigan – Project Engineer from 2021 to present. Services include development of landfill final cover construction drawings, certification drawings, and 5-year phasing plans.
Adrian Landfill, Michigan – Project Engineer from 2021 to present. Services include development of LFG construction drawings and certification drawings.
Carleton Farms Landfill, Michigan – Project Engineer from 2020 to present. Services include development of LFG construction drawings, certification drawings, and 5-year phasing plans.
Brown County Landfill, Ohio – Project Engineer from 2021 to present. Services include development of LFG construction drawings and bid packages based on site-specific needs, development of 5-year phasing plans, and production of construction documentation reports.
Benson Valley Landfill, Kentucky – Provided project engineer services include design LFGGCCS and developing construction drawings based on site-specific needs, developing of an enhanced monitoring plan for high-temperature wells attending LFG Meetings, and production of construction documentation reports. Additionally, is heavily involved in certification reports for this site. (Well logs Schedule, CAD).
Vienna Junction Landfill, Michigan – Designed the cell floor gradation and leachate sump for the cell construction project in 2021. Reviewed, analyzed, and recorded the as-built survey data for record reports to be submitted to the state.
Carbon Limestone Landfill, Ohio – Drafted, analyzed/interpreted, and reviewed the high temperature and liquid levels packages. Analyzed and drafted the 2022 aerial budget package and calculated the necessary quantities for the life of the site and current year projections.
Sauk Trail Hills Landfill, Michigan – Project Engineer from 2021 to Present. Provided engineering support in LFG design project for gas system and prepared certification report drawings and reviews.
