RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Landfill Design, Project Management, & CAD Drafting
Completed various LFG Design projects for gas system expansions at solid waste facilities in Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Kentucky, Nevada, Ohio, and Virginia. This included, but was not limited to, LFG conveyance systems, condensate management systems, GCCS Final Development Plans, KYPipe analysis, mining reclamation, 5-Year development plans, and evaporation pond construction.
Project Manager for various environmental construction and budgeting projects in Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio, and Virginia. This included, but was not limited to, managing construction meetings, generating quantities & estimating costs, generating drawings, and communicating with the various parties involved in projects (i.e. governing agencies, environmental managers, contractors, etc.)
Completed AutoCAD Civil 3D, and KYPipe drawings for various solid waste facilities in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Michigan. Trained multiple employees to use CAD software effectively. This included, but was not limited to, aerial budget modeling, LFG system layouts and construction drawings, survey data formatting and upload, GCCS Final Development Plans, 5-Year budget models, and KYPipe.
Apex Regional Landfill, NV
Served as designer for Apex’s evaporation pond construction in 2019, 2020, and 2022. This included analysis of current pond system network and leachate intake rates to determine sizing and arrangement. Handled the coordination involved with this evolving project. Also managed and is involved in the development of the 2021 EG/NESHAP GCCS Design Plan.
Carbon Limestone Landfill, Ohio
Served as CQA technician for landfill gas collection system expansions in 2016, 2017, and 2018. This included supervision of field operations, subcontractor management, documentation of installation, and monitoring to ensure compliance with the construction quality assurance plan. Was involved heavily in LFG design from 2017–2019, and work on this site in 2022 included completion of 2022 GCCS Design Plan as well as updates to site’s Radiation Monitoring Plan, Solidification Plan, and Mining Permit.
Countywide Landfill, Ohio
Served as CQA technician for landfill gas collection system expansions in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Expansions consisted of work on both the 170 acre and 88 acre remediation area. This included supervision of field operations, contractor management, documentation of installation, and monitoring to ensure compliance with the construction quality assurance plan. Involved in LFG system design from 2017-2019. Recent work includes development of RSL Permit Modification.
Carlton Farms Landfill
Served as CQA technician for landfill gas collection system expansion in 2017 for installation of caisson wells and corresponding landfill gas pipping.
Crawford County Landfill
Managed and assisted with the production of 5-Year Development Plans, showing the filling sequence and other associated construction events over the next 5 years. Site soil balance was also tabulated to determine overall soil needs on site.
East Carolina Landfill
Served as CQA technician for landfill gas collection system expansions in 2018. Expansion consisted of work. This included supervision of field operations, documentation, as well as field fitting unforeseen issues.
Epperson Landfill, Kentucky
Provided CQA services on landfill gas collection system expansion in 2016 and 2017 and the construction of a new cell in 2015. This involved verifying drilling locations, depths, temperatures, and managing contractor operations. Heavily involved in LFG system design from 2017-2020.
Green Valley Landfill, Kentucky
Provided CQA services on landfill gas collection system expansion in 2017. This involved verifying drilling locations, depths, temperatures, and managing contractor operations as well as coordination with other firms due to ongoing slope stability issues. Heavily involved in LFG system design from 2019 - present. Manages completion of aerial budget modeling, LFG design, as well as 5-year development plans for the site.
Imperial Landfill, Pennsylvania
Provided CQA services on multiple aspects of landfill gas construction including drilling operations, landfill gas conveyance system expansion, temporary liner cap, and new cell construction over the years of 2016 and 2017. Additionally, is heavily involved in certification reports for this site.
North Country Environmental Services Landfill (NCES), New Hampshire
Constructed a feasibility report for a high BTU plant. This involved analyzing all gas producing elements of the landfill and creating new scenario for expected flow once adjustments were made to increase the quality of the landfill gas from the collectors.
Northwest Landfill, Pennsylvania
Provided CQA services for the construction of a final cap and expansion of the landfill gas collection system in 2016. This included documentation of liner and geo-composite placement, documentation of repairs, and monitoring final cover placement. Expansion of the landfill gas system included the shift of header piping through the liner and above the final cap in multiple areas.
