Newton County Landfill Cells, (2017-2023)
Project Manager / Construction Manager for the construction of 60 acres of new waste disposal cells. Construction included: soil barrier verification, structural and barrier soil construction, geosynthetic liner installation, and leachate collection and removal system construction. Responsible for contractor management, progress meetings, budget tracking, change order approval, contract interpretation, coordination with project engineers, submittal review and tracking, oversight of field technicians, and preparation of Construction Documentation Reports.
Republic Services – Carleton Farms Landfill, Landfill Gas Collection System Construction (2006-2023)
Project Manager / Construction Manager for the construction of landfill gas collection system expansions. Construction included: installation of vertical and horizontal gas collection wells, installation of landfill gas collection header and lateral pipeline, installation of dual extraction gas collection wells, final cover cap repair and repairs to existing gas collection system components. Responsible for contractor management, chairing progress meetings, budget tracking, change order approval, contract interpretation, coordination with project engineers, submittal review and tracking, oversight of field technicians, and preparation of Construction Documentation Reports.
Rockwood Landfill, Final Closure Project, (2010)
Project Manager / Construction Manager for the final closure and capping of the 65-acre Rockwood Landfill. Construction included waste relocation, structural and barrier soil construction, geosynthetic liner installation and protective/vegetative soil construction. Responsible for contractor management, chairing progress meetings, budget tracking, change order approval, contract interpretation, coordination with project engineers, submittal review and tracking, oversight of field technicians, and preparation of Construction Documentation Reports.
Sauk Trail Hills Landfill Cells, (1999 -2022)
Project Manager / Construction Manager for the construction of 65 acres of new waste disposal cells. Ford Motor Company, Monroe, Michigan Plant Dual Containment Unit Remediation and Closure (1999-2004)
Assistant Project Manager during construction of a combined 80 acres of a multi-layer hazardous waste solidification closure. Construction included waste solidification, waste relocation, slurry wall construction, structural and barrier soil construction, geosynthetic liner installation, perimeter drainage construction and protective/vegetative soil construction. Part of a team that produced a final certification report containing more than 20,000 pages of construction documentation covering the five years of construction. Contract value of over $6.5M.
